Tomorrow M and I are running the 5k race for the Mecklenburg Cancer Association. The race is combined with a costume contest. So we are going as Dutch Supporters, that means being in the color Orange. And Mijne had to be the Guinea pig:-) together with his big brother Mojo

On October 21 Mojo's first offspring was born. His dame Wynter Spirit's Anya Marie gave birth to 7 beautiful and healthy puppies. 4 male and 3 female. Short and long coat. Females are all reserved. 

Growing pains can be painful, i know this now Jessie going through some  painful moments🥲 and so i decided to start with a raw food diet. Well, i started reading on what to do and what ti expect. In The Netherlands Mojo and Mijne were on a raw diet and they loved it and did good. But because here in the US everything is different, cost different i have been giving them (high quality) kibble but it doesn't do it. Especially now Jessie suffers i an going to switch as soon as i figured out were to go to for the meat and what to serve as  a 'balanced' diet.
Steps i took so far:
- searched the internet for some books
- bought two good books: Raw Dog Food by Carina Beth Mac Donald, a very hands on book and Natural Nutrition Dogs and Cats by Kymythy R. Schulze.
- signed up on two Facebook groups: the Barf diet: Raw feeding and another
- searching internet for farms that sell meat and that are not to far from here. Making a list. 
- looking for a good meat grinder and a food processor.
I will keep you updated on my journey. 

Sometimes when we have some leftover meat i make dog cookies with meat, egg. carrots, ginger, parsley and turmeric. You can either bake then in the oven or in a pan, without butter/oil. It smells yummy and i think it taste really good. It doesn't take lit of time to make and the dogs love it😍

One of the things Jessie and i love to do is drive to the Walmart half an hour from here, pick ip the groceries and drive back. So we do this once a week and we 😍 it!!!

Yesterday we mainly stayed inside. It was raining  the whole day. I cut the walks with the dogs.a little bit shorter but still managed to have some training outside. Loving our pack❤️❤️❤️

Today it is World Animal Day and I give our animals some extra treats and kisses today. Also my thoughts are with June and Jill who went over the rainbow bridge this year😢 Always in my heart ❤️
