April 30, day 40
A lot has happened this last week. Venture got used to her crate pretty fast. Of course she has her stuffed dog & duck with her. And she likes to have the crate covered.
Like her daddy Mojo she always starts with protesting when in the crate, but I have found the ideal dog music I put on for a while. I also tell her in Dutch 'ga maar lekker slapen' on a neutral tone. Most of the time she sleeps, or at least gets quiet within 30 seconds. And to make sure she learns to hold her business until out of the crate and in the yard, I lock the crate door.

Other new things for Venture are:
- meeting new humans
- meeting her new family
- her first car ride
- transition from mush to soaked whole kibble
- drinking water from a bowl
- going to the dog pen with the big dogs
- having the chickens all around and watch them
- playing with Mama more and more, and sometimes with Evie & Jane
- play with a cat tunnel, however not interested
- starting to 'walk on leash'.
- potting almost always outside.

May 1, day 41
We had a almost uneventful day yesterday, but two things: my Dutch friend Marianne came to visit and so Venture ended up on her lap. Good for the socialization. And Venture went through the tunnel for the first time! And I didn't even have to cheer her. Love this little creature💕

Today Venture will meet my friend Janet who lives in Town. Oh and Venture is eating soaked kibble now, without being mushed. Of course Mama milk still is her favorite:-)
It is such beautiful weather that we spend a lot of time outside. My friend came over and she of course also fell in love with Venture. It took V only 10 sec or so to warm up to my friend.
And cuddle time with Martijn V always loves. She is so happy to see Martijn, her little tail swings so fast:-) Today we tried walking on leash again and wow with some encouragement and Jessie leading the way, V walked on leash all around the B&B. Baby steps maybe, but for such a little puppy it's a giant walk.
Oh V exchanged kisses with Julie the cat and she had some playtime with Jane. V more and more is playing, especially with Jessie and the 'diy mobile'. So awesome.

May 2, day 42
Today V turned 6 weeks already. More and more she becomes a real individual. Today she was pretty vocal and challenging her mama, but also her big sister Jane and her play mate Evie. Even daddy Mojo gave her a reprimand for being not so nice to her mama Jessie.
But this is something we have to go there too. Pups go through so many fases, and sometimes these fases switch so fast, and we just stay patience and guide them. It will get better🧡 Maybe already tomorrow.
So if you want to know how week 7 goes for V please read further.
