SOUL SAVER FOR THE JOY OF LIFE (MIJNE) - LINK TO PEDIGREE (FCI registration NHSB 3176594 The Netherlands and Puerto Rico (HD.21.001) Finding a suitable name for him was a challenge, but we decided on Mijne (Mine in English) because it represented the answer to the question: "who's soul is he going to save?" Mijne is a very handsome dog, taller than his big 'brother' Mojo and physically impressive. He has a playful and silly nature. He is intelligent and quickly understands cues, especially when there is a treat involved. Mijne adapts easily and has a "no-nonsense" mindset that we adore. His name, "soul saver," accurately reflects his unique personality Mijne measures approximately 28 inches (70cm) in height and weighs around 88 lbs (40kg). He has been cleared of all breed-specific genetic diseases such as DM and Mdr through EMBARK testing. We decided not to use Mijne in our breeding program and had him neutered in 2024. Main reason is that he copes with ADHD, which is (epi)genetic. Although we love Mijne very much and he's the clown of the pack, living with a dog with ADHD has it's challenges. Challenges we don't want to burden future puppy buyers with. |

Obedience training
Mijne came in our lives January 2020. Right away we put him on puppy groups training. And then COVID hit and all classes where postponed. Meanwhile we sold our home and had to move to the South of The Netherlands and that was to far away to pick up the training again. So I trained Mijne myself and arranged for him to have his exam anyway. And he did his exam with top grades. I am so proud of this fantastic dog! That summer he started the next obedience training at another facility but because we moved to the USA we had to stop. Like all the other dogs they are trained by me on a daily basis. They love it!
