"A"mericas Litter - Venture with her new family (gotcha day May 25, 2024)
My sweet Venture is doing wonderful with her new family. She learns to play fetch and she learns that big cars passing by are not scary at all. She doesn't mind rain and thunder and she likes to meet new people and kids. She eats good and she looks very healthy.

Venture is being exposed to more socialization with play sessions with other puppies and familiar dogs. She's figuring out how to deal with all sorts of behavior.
She also goes on car rides, enjoys chewing and is sitting pretty<3

June 11: today I received Ventures registration certificate (pedigree) from the FCI. Only Mojo's pedigree name is misspelled. However I am absolute thrilled that my first bred puppy is now FCI registered as a White Swiss Shepherd with her own pedigree.
Sometimes Ventures ears (or at least one of them) falls flat. It's adorable.
It's such a blessing for me that Ventures family loves to share her progress, her activities and her adventures. Today Ventures human mama sent the congratulations to Mojo for Fathers Day and we gor a bunch of pictures. I am really happy to (still) be a part (even if it is a very small one) in Ventures life. Thank you.

Today Venture is 3 months already. She has a very good weight, 22lbs. According to her family she is very smart & focused. They find her 'the best pup ever'😄. So happy 3 months day Venture. We love you and miss you🧡

Temperatures are rising and it has been extremely warm dor this time of the year. We are keeping our daily activities to a minimum and also Venture has found a way to keep it cool. Laying next to the fridge and everything someone opens it, she receives a nice cool breeze. She's such a smart girl<3.

Venture is getting big now. Especially her tail has grown so much. According to her 'mom' she is a very smart, independent puppy. She likes to play ball, but is also ok with playing alone. She's the family first dog that pays attention to their fish. We love to watch her discovering the world and become familiar with it🧡

Venture did very well with the 4th of July fireworks. She was alert but didn't bark. Like her daddy she isn't concerned with the loud noises. I did play loud noises, like fireworks, from the moment her ears were open. Together with a massage she was very relaxed about it. So who knows it helped. Anyway, I am

Venture loves her new cool bed. And it's true, this breed loves to stay cool during extremely hot days.

Venture has been enjoying the warm weather with water splash fun! Her further socialization activists wher: basic obedience classes, horse visits, day care and meeting other dogs & humans. And visiting the Home Depot. Yes she is absolute busy and loving it. According to her family Venture is still 'the best pup ever!!!!':-))) We love you V and can't wait to see and cuddle you again.

Now that her best friend Emily is off to school again, she has to get used to her new routine. Venture weights now around 40lbs which is perfect for a 5 months old a female WSS.
Coming month her family is planning to sign her up for a scent class. This is such a good way to put this breed to work.
A dog's nose is his best asset, but this breed loves to work with it. Every day I play with the dogs find and fetch the ball. They have to use their nose to find the ball and it's awesome to see when they put their nose to work. Mmm I might write a blog about this fenomenale sense.
Anyhow, I am looking forward to see how Venture will do.

Fall 2024
Venture loves chasing the falling leaves. She is doing very well with her scent classes, She moved into a bigger crate because she is already 7 months and getting big now. She is also exploring the world more and is more curious about what happens outside the house. Jessie, Evie and me have a visit planned beginning of this November. I am so excited that I'll see and can hold her again. I am sure that Jessie and her will be excited to see each other again.
