May 3, day 43
Today I stored the whelping box. Venture doesn't need it anymore, she is walking around in the house and and sleeps in the crate. Another milestone.
I gave Venture cooked pumpkin mush, which I made myself and I think she likes it. It's full of probiotics so very healthy for the gut.

Venture is not potty trained, although during the time she stays in her crate, which is during the night around 3.5-4 hours, she keeps it dry. But when she walks freely she pees one or twice a day inside. I try to take her outside every half hour when she is awake. She loves to play and like the other girls. And she likes to make noise when she plays.
May 7, day 47
Venture is expanding her horizon. Outside she explores more, walks or runs in bigger circles around me, she plays with her mama & the other girls like a pro.
Since a couple of days she eats dry kibble like her mama, and she eats like her mama too, slowly.
V had her second car ride, every day she has a leash walk and she is getting used to her (closed) crate. Last night she almost slept 5 hours before she had to potty.
Jane is in heat so Mijne is totally out of it with a lot of howling, barking and whining. This all finds Venture a little intimidating. So sometimes she hides under the couch, away from all the big dogs. And that's good too.
Next Friday she has her vet visit planned: 1st vaccine, microchipping and health check. Memorial weekend she will go home with her new family. Until then I am going fully enjoy having this sweet, funny, loving and sometimes naughty pup around🧡🧡🧡
