May 10, day 50
It is just so incredible to see how fast Venture grows, not only physically but also in behavior. Because she has been coming with the big dogs to the Dog pen she gets used to being around them, even challenging them to play with her.
When she has the opportunity she steels the ball. And they let her. She also picks up the ball and walks or runs with it a couple of feet.
In the morning Venture always eats a lot of kibble but during the rest of the day she seems not so interested. So I bought some canned puppy food which likes very much. This combination makes sure she will grow further.

Ventures is a fast walker and she likes to run too. She listens when called, especially when you clap in your hands and kneel down on her level. She likes to interact with the other dogs, chasing chickens (which she is not allowed to do) and be a little rough with the cats. Evie is very interested in Venture and together they make a lot of noise when playing. Jans is more gentle, soft maybe but that is what Ventures also likes. With all the big dogs around her she gets enough exposure to different kind of interaction which is good.
May 13, day 53
Venture is growing so fast now, she also developed into an individual with an own will and funny things.
She can sleep 4-5 hours during the night before she has to go potty, she hasn't pooped in the house or her crate since a very long time. Yesterday we went for a car ride, third time, and she was a little bit more drooling than before. Lets see if this is a one time thing.
Today we had a foto shoot with Jessie & Mojo & Venture. A lot of fun: pictures are soso.
Yea Venture is getting an individual with her own likes and dislikes. But she is funny, exploratory and loving. I fell in love with this sweetie big time😍😍😍

May 16, day 56
Today V is already 8 weeks old. She is still doing great, becoming a dog more and more.
She listens very well when called, she also sits when asked and stops when told 'NO'. Every day we walk on leash which she is ok with, but not a big fan. She is used to sleeping in her crate with the door locked. And potty she does almost always outside. But I go outside with her like 12-14 times a day. But during the night she doesn't pee or poo in her crate, I only take her outside around 2am.
Mama Jessie and her love to play together. But she can play alone very well. The tunnel and her big new pink ball are favorite.
Tomorrow she will go to her first vet visit for her:
- first vaccination
- microchip
- health check
Only one week left and she will be leaving with her new family. I will let her go, but still don't know how.
