The owners of Mojo's brother, Raaf turned out to live in The Hague also. With only a 10 minute walk from where we lived.
So when we picked both brothers up from the breeder at 8 weeks old, we went with one car. And this was the beginning of a friendship between the owner of Raaf, Anne and me. We met on a regular basis, often on the beach at Scheveningen. But also in one of the dog friendly parks The Hague offers. We talked about so many things but mostly we exchanged all the developments of Mojo and Raaf and of course compared notes. Because Raaf was trained as a certified service dog, which is a very intense and extensive training in The Netherlands I learned a lot about puppy stages, behavior, different training approaches, etc, etc. I have very fond memories of our walks and talks. And at the same time it makes me sad that Mojo and I have to miss these special moments. Maybe one day I will take Mojo with me to The Netherlands so that we can visit Raaf & Anne.
